Marathon Training Plan! 

Hal Higdon's Intermediate 2 Program


You have to understand that when you sign up for your first Marathon nothing will really prepare you for what you will put your body and mind through in the last 6 miles of that run.  


The Marine Corp Marathon was an unbelievable experience but those last 6 miles were the hardest thing I have ever done and I couldn't have done it without the support of the spectators, my family there cheering and of course my amazing husband who ran right beside me and pushed me hard even when I was about to hyperventilate due to emotions!  


This Training Plan really prepares you for the grueling effort it takes to run a marathon and I suggest you follow it as strictly as you can!
